In 2020, shortly after COVID began we wanted to make a difference. We had been playing a lot of Minecraft and a friend asked if we could put something together for her child’s birthday party. We jumped at the opportunity and have been spending weekends creating memorable and fun experiences for kids ever since.

FunCaptains.com was started by husband and wife Joe Mellin and Megan Goering. One of Joe’s jobs in college was to be a party host at the Laurence Hall of Science in Berkeley, CA. Party hosts all have a background in working with children and a love for creating joy.
